WELCOME TO BIRTH CHOICE OF OKLAHOMA, INC.

Birth Choice of Oklahoma, Inc. exists to assist pregnant women with the means and opportunity to choose life. Birth choice responds to the needs of pregnant women to enhance their ability to become self-sufficient and sustain a life-style which will facilitate a positive contribution to society. Birth Choice began in Oklahoma City in 1973 with one small office. Today Birth Choice is a resource center for pregnant women with four centers in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, four other offices throughout the State and two national affiliates. Birth Choice is completely private, independent, interdenominational and non-political. 

Birth Choice centers welcome women wherever they may be on their life journey. Volunteers offer compassionate dialog, one to one assistance and nurturing support. Volunteers are nonjudgmental and offer a sympathetic, listening ear, giving each women the support necessary for her to choose life for her unborn child. Birth Choice volunteers are never confrontational and are prohibited from approaching any pregnant women who do not first contact the organization. 

Birth Choice strives to coordinate efforts with existing agencies throughout the state so that no duplication of services occurs. Volunteers are trained to negotiate the maze of social services available and assist each woman in finding resources needed to choose life.
